This project is a study of how utilitarian state buildings can become more human and visually friendly without losing their official character.

The facility serves tourists, staff, vehicles and cargo crossing the border, so the architecture had to remain clear, disciplined and administrative. At the same time, it should not feel cold or hostile, especially for people arriving from abroad.

The main task was to improve the visual quality of the complex with minimal and reasonable means: durable facade materials, simple geometry, restrained colors and warm accents. The goal was not to decorate the buildings, but to make them calmer, more welcoming and easier to perceive in everyday use.

The result is a pragmatic administrative architecture that still feels respectful to people.
