Angara Hotel is the one of the oldest modernistic soviet buildings in downtown Irkutsk. It was built in 60s next to the City Hall Building and the Central Square.
Since the building had been held badly after 90s’ a few purposes were made in regard to renovate or remove the Hotel. It is a part of the Irkutsk history, so it needs to be either renovated or reconstructed.
Our try is to make 3 reconstruction stages that should bring modern aesthetic and functions which were lost in time and no longer serve today’s standards.
